Versus Cancer
Support before, during and after cancer treatment through Carlisle United's cancer prehabilitation and rehabilitation programme.
Versus Cancer is a cancer prehabilitation and rehabilitation programme run by Carlisle United, designed to support people before and after cancer surgery or treatment.
The programme combines physical activity with practical advice, peer support and opportunities to connect with others on a similar journey. Sessions take place in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, helping participants build strength and energy, support their recovery and improve their overall wellbeing.

The programme can help people to:
- Build strength and energy before treatment and support recovery afterwards
- Reduce treatment-related effects such as fatigue and reduced mobility
- Improve physical, social and mental wellbeing
- Connect with others and share experiences
- Develop healthy habits around physical activity, eating and wellbeing that can continue beyond treatment
