Growing Well is a Cumbrian mental health charity – based in Tebay, Kendal, and Egremont. We have a large catchment area, serving people across Carlisle , to Penrith, Appleby, Kirkby Stephen, and surrounding areas.

We help people experiencing mental ill-health to activate their own recovery and live a healthier life, through therapeutic horticulture-based activities. Beneficiaries attend one day a week, for up to 12 months. Our view is to also support the demand on health services such as GP’s and mental health services, by providing a supportive environment for individuals on long waitlists.
