Direct Bus to South Carlisle surgery

Launched on January 5, 2026, as part of the Cumberland Go initiative, Reays operates the new DR1 bus service in Carlisle.

This service provides a direct, accessible link between Carlisle City Centre (Lowther Street) and the Carlisle Healthcare South (Locke Road) and Carleton Clinic, specifically designed to improve access for patients and staff, whilst matching clinic schedules and operating hours. The bus will stop at any bus stop along the route.
